  1. Continue to wear your maternity clothes.

  2. Tell yourself you’ll treat yourself to new clothes after you’ve lost ALL the weight.

  3. Forget to put nursing pads in your nursing bra and spring a leak in public.

  4. Insist that only you know best and refuse help from everyone including your husband when he incredibly offers to do a nighttime feeding.

  5. Have annoyingly slim and attractive sister-in-law over to see the baby. Listen to how the pounds literally fell off of her in just two weeks after giving birth to her 4th child.

  6. Cut long hair into short, no-nonsense style a’ la Rosie O’Donnell.

  7. Leave the house without checking shirt for signs of spit-up.

  8. Tote your baby, stroller, purse, diaper bag and portable breast pump with you wherever you go.

  9. Go to casting call for “Extreme Makeover.”

  10. Get pregnant again.
